Time to change?

In 1883, several Swiss timekeeper makers decided to form a "union" to ensure quality and used the name Alpina as their basic brand. A search of the Internet will return many hits for "Union Horlogère." A nice pocket watch was almost like a status symbol in 1910.

The registered cover shown here was posted at the 43rd Telegraph Office in Moscow on 31 July 1910. The franking is a mixture of 10-kop. of the 1902-05 issue (inverted background) and the fairly new release of 1908/09. The address in Switzerland has been professionally printed indicating there are more if these somewhere. On the back is a very nice advertisement printed for the instruments produced.

What I can not figure out is the meaning of the "case." Could it be P.O. Box or street address or? Does the manuscript on the front pertain to this letter?

Enjoy

The Script (as much as I can read it...)

"Der Brief ist doppelt frankiert angekommen mit Brief betr. ???, ??? besitzen Sie wohl? Fragt immerhin hier z. Vorsicht."

"Letter arrived with double franking. Containing letter regarding ???, ??? you already own? Is asking anyhow to get sure about it."
