Not being one who's afraid to demonstrate his ignorance, I have to ask, why can't this exist?

Thank you for the explanation.

Have you written to the seller to ask why it's not identified as counterfeit? Perhaps he doesn't know? Or has this one been caught out before and not reacted properly?

How about the rest of his stuff? It looks like most of his Russian items are errors, some from the modern era. Are these legit, or fake too?

If we are following a dealer on eBay, please use the appropriate eBay forum. Thanks.

Gary,

This topic is about NWA forgeries so forum is right. On other hand it happened that stamps were found at eBay so eBay forum is also good for discussion.

More and more forgeries are coming up on e-Bay. I am sure the sellers know this - several refuse my bids when I bid low at the opening for forgeries! (Olga in particular and I always tell 'her' when I place a low bid because it is a forgery).

"she" still blocks my bids whether high or low. There seems to be no redress to this and one can no longer ask seller a question on e-Bay!!!!
