Turkish SC#1? forgery
Two Turkish SC#1 here!
Do any guys think that left one is a forgery?

There are definitely differences between the two - look at the horizontal lines at the top and bottom of the outer circle line. On the right stamp the
upper right line seems to be at about the same height as the upper portion of the circle (12 o'clock); on the left stamp it is noticeably above the
upper portion of the circle.
In the white semi-circles around the center, there are print dots visible in the right stamp; these don't seem to exist in the left stamp.
There are lots of other differences too but these are what I saw in just a couple of minutes.
I will leave it to the experts to respond to the original question - unfortunately I don't have any expertise in this area.

This looks like the forgery described in the Serrane Guide. The ends of the lines in the second border, at the top of the stamp, have squared
ends.
In the genuines, that I possess, they are pointed.
I would put this in my forgery collection. Thanks for posting this. I have always wanted to see one.

I posted the left one to APS Quick ID.
Here is feedback:
We have no material in the Philatelic Collection for this issue (genuine or counterfeit). The description from the Serrane guide is helpful but it
still requires formal certification to confirm. No charge.
Confused still...
