Lyapin 91. Scott 230. "Black perle" variety
Lyapin catalogue edition 2009, page 149, under 91, P4, 10K (Scott 230) describes the "Black Perle" variety.
This sounds like something Captain Jack was looking for in Pirates of the Caribbean. No example is given. I have never seen any other reference to
this stamp.
I have scanned what may be the black perle stamp. The black mark looks like a pearl. It is not an external spot and does not penetrate the paper.
The mark disrupts both lines of the right frame lines thus was present at printing.
Is this the black perle? Any further ideas or suggestions?

Looks like some paper inclusion to me and does not look like plate variety.

Black perle
Thanks for the reply. As you noted does appear to be a plate inclusion since the two border lines are disrupted. However sill does answer the
question of the mystery of what is the black perle variety.
