All good things come to those who wait.

I have good and bad news. Let's start with the good news. The fall Rossica journal will be another outstanding issue. We have an amazing array of articles covering just about every aspect of Russian philately. As editor I may be just a bit biased, but I honestly think that when you receive or download your copy of journal #171, you'll feel like a kid in a candy store! It's that good!
The bad news is that for the first time in the five years that I have been editor, this issue will be a bit late. Family matters and work on contract have slowed me down. I am presently doing the layout of the new Rossica in the publishing program and instead of being at the end of the job as usual at this time of year, I'm still on page 50 with about 80 to go. This means that our printer will be mailing out journals some time in November, not late October. So please be patient and I promise to you that your patience will be richly rewarded! I appreciate your understanding. Nik Sorokin
