Russian Translation web site

I used the following site: http://www.freetranslation.com/

to translate from Russian to English the web article Miron Lam posted on the thread "Happy New Year" from Merlynd.

The translation is not perfect, but certainly allows one to get a very good idea of the content of the article. For those of you who are not Russian literate, or simply never grasped the language, despite several years of instruction (me! :( ) I recommend this as an interim translation device.

no idea

Hi Jim, no idea. I just cut and pasted the cyrrilic out of the article and got a rough translation back. The nice thing about this tool is that I can get a general idea of the content w/o breaking out the dictionary.

It ain't perfect but it does help out in a pinch.

Andrey I tested the site you provided, using some old Imperial Russian terminology, and it worked really well.

A nice neat site to use. Thanks!
