Tranlation please!!!

I have tried the translation sites and all they do is translate part of the message or all of it into Arabic lettering and words. Can someone please translate this cards message and address? Thanks JW

Agaspher

Message "Regards from Agaspher (nickname? code name?) 23-X-1911 Irkutsk"
Address: "Sergey Elpedifirovich Grandilevsky - Petersburg, Gorokhovaya, 6, Salamander [Insurance company]".

As far as I know no (on-line or not) translator would translate NAMES. And why into ARABIC? May be it would be better into ENGLISH?

translate please

It not in Arabic letters I should say regular letters but words are still in Russian. Thanks for fast reply. Written Cryllic like any written language is apt to be sloppy or carelessly written. JW

Sloppy?

There is nothing sloppy or carelessly written ON THIS SPECIFIC CARD - I've seldom seen so neat and beautiful handwriting.

I agree with Old Teddy. The handwriting is actually legible - that's slightly unusual.

not sloppy!!!

Thats what I mean about this writing on this card. It is great. Im saying a lot of the cards are written probably by people with not much schooling or writing practice in the early part of the 20th Cent. My daughter has taken a couple of years of German in high school and college and cant figure out a lot of the German on post cards and letters. Thanks for the replies. JW
