Faberge in Moscow

The picture postcard shows a view of Kuznetskii most. In the right-front foreground is a building with the name K. Faberzhe.

On 19 October 1895, a local wrapper was mailed to the same name with the same address.

Was the Faberge family's business in Moscow mainly silver activity? Can anybody add to this thought or have other ideas on the subject?

Hi Gary ... About your questions.
All I can say,for now - Is ... In the book " Masterpieces from the House of Faberge " by Alexander vaon Solodkoff ...
ISBN N` 0-8109-8089-4
On Page 21 there is an invoice for " Cigar case & Frame Enamel " ... From the Moscow shop - Marechaux street No`4
On page 164 there is fews others " Items " ... Listed/Photographed ... With some made,in Moscow.
Miniature Gueridon (Red/Green Gold - Crystal - Opal) ... Miniature Empire-Style Table Set With Clock (Silver Gilt - Pink Enamel - Pearls) ...
Page 173 ... Grand Duke Kirikk Vladimirovich Kovsh (Silver - Silver Gilt - Amethysts) ... Brick Macth Holder with Satyrs (Silver) - Similar P46 - Also from " Gusarev Factory ...
Page 175 ... Ivan theTerrible Desk Set (Silver - Crystal - Gemstone) ... As above titled (Silver) or as above titled (Knife) ... Etc P175 many, examples from Moscow.
Dear " Gary " my personal believe is ... Moscow did make more " Sliver " probably because of the proximity of the " Silver Factory " ... That`s all.
Good luck, with this thread - Will keep in touch - Greettings.
