Advertising in the Journal

The editor of the Journal accepts Member-to-member adlets free of charge (see guidelines below), and paid advertisements from dealers, auction houses, and other vendors. Rossica cannot assume any liability for transactions resulting from member responses to adlets nor get involved with mediating disputes. Members are cautioned to be fair in offering and in responding. Any material considered to be of value by the sender sent through the mails should be insured or registered.

Member-to-member Adlets are Free!

Member adlets are free with the following limitations:

• they must not exceed 480 characters;
• a character is defined as a letter, number, space or punctuation mark;
• the member's name and address are NOT included in this 480-character limitation;
• each adlet must include the name and address of the member placing the ad;
• no dealer ads will be accepted as adlets;
• adlet service is available to Rossica members only.

For adlets that exceed the 480-character limitation, the price is 10 cents per word, no matter how long the word may be. All adlets exceeding the 480-character limitation must be accompanied by a check for the correct amount made out to the Rossica Society.

Submission deadlines: Spring Journal: 15 February; Fall Journal: 31 July.

Paid Advertising

The Editorial Board of the Rossica Journal invites advertisements from our dealer-members as well as non-members who conduct the occasional auction or mail-sale with a strong offering of Russian and related-area material. The Journal appears twice a year and reaches over 400 members and affiliates worldwide in the Spring and Fall. Deadlines for submission of advertisements are 15 February for the Spring issue and 31 July for the Fall issue. We strongly prefer commitments for ads in three consecutive issues or more (except for the back cover) to aid us in planning. However, one-time ads for upcoming auctions or mail-sales can be accommodated and are welcome.
